Participants are required to assemble by Sunday at 7:00 p.m. prior to camp for check-in and pre-hike meeting (compulsory). For onward travel planning purposes, the camps will be returning to check-in point in Red Deer on Saturday by 5:00 p.m. (1700 hrs). But you should allow for unplanned delays. ** Each camp will be restricted to a maximum of 50 participants plus four camp staff.

You are now on the last step to register for the Skyline Hikers Camp 2013 and hike program at South Ram, on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies.

Cancellation Policy All cancellations must be in writing to the Registrar by postal mail or e-mail. In the event of such written cancellation, for any reason, all monies paid will be refunded subject to a cancellation fee per person as follows: Cancellations received by 1 May: $100.00 fee. Cancellations received after 1 May but before the Monday, 6 weeks preceding the camp: $200.00 fee. Cancellations less than 6 week but more than 2 weeks before Monday of the camp: one-half of camp fee. Cancellations received less than 2 weeks before Monday of the camp: no monies refunded – unless a replacement is found, in which case no refund of membership fee. Please note that we are required to collect GST on all cancellation fees (GST # 119254399RT). You may want to consider purchase of appropriate insurance to cover against camp cancellation.

If the camp you have selected is already full, we will give you the choice of another camp (space permitting) or a refund, or will put you on a waiting list for the camp of your choice. Refer to above table and chart as to vacancy status of each camp.

To Register

1. Download and print a copy of the registration form (PDF *) for each member of your party.
   
   
2. Complete and sign all forms for each person.
   
   
3. Calculate total cost for your party. Click the button to open the cost calculator (opens in a new window; you may need to allow pop-ups for this site).
   
   
4. Payment options : Pay according to one of the following options:

• Include full payment by cheque or money order (payable to Skyline Hikers Canadian Rockies).
  
  
• Pay the $200 deposit and membership fee by cheque, and include the balance in a post-dated cheque, as noted on the registration form.
  
  
• Pay the full amount by Interac e-Transfer (see below).
  
  
• Pay the full amount by PayPal (see below, right – please add 3% PayPal service fee to the amount owing).

5. Send the completed forms and payment to the Registrar (see address at bottom of this page or on front of registration form).

Interac e-Transfer : This payment service is available only for transactions between Canadian financial institutions. Send request to SHCR Registrar, via online form below, for guideline sheet on how to make Interac e-Transfer to SHCR. Interac e-Transfer is facilitated through the online banking feature of your financial institution.

PayPal : Once you have calculated the amount owing (please contact the SHCR Registrar if you are not sure of the amount), click on the icon at right to make your payment. (Remember to add 3% to total amount being paid via PayPal.)

I Have Submitted My Camp Registration & Payment...What Next

Once your registration has been processed you will receive from the SHCR Registrar a notice of confirmation along with documents containing information pertinent to your participation in Camp 2013.

2013 SHCR Membership

Registration for Camp 2013 at South Ram includes membership in the Skyline Hikers of the Canadian Rockies (SHCR), which is valid through to 31 December 2013.

Attending a SHCR camp is not a pre-requisite condition to take out a membership. Those who have attended previous annual camps are invited to maintain their status as a member in good standing through membership renewal, while those who have never attended a SHCR camp are invited to become a new member. The annual membership fee is $20.00 per person ($30.00 per family).

As a member of the SHCR you will enjoy the following benefits.

• Receive information bulletins and circulars, including annual newsletter.
• Access to the Members Area on the SHCR website.
• Help sustain the SHCR as a non-profit organization.
